Philanthropy Leadership

The Adventist Health Portland Foundation developed from fundraising efforts in the 1990s. Those efforts were formalized with a foundation charter on January 1, 2010.

Since then, community leaders have partnered with hospital and foundation staff to raise more than $20 million in philanthropic support of Adventist Health Portland’s mission. Our board members tirelessly give their wisdom and time to advance charitable giving to extend that mission to our patients, their families and our communities.

The Adventist Health Foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of directors. Our board members come from inside and outside health care. They are united by their commitment to community health in Portland and their shared support of Adventist Health Portland.
