Standard Insurance Gives Back!
Adventist Health Portland is all about connection: connecting to our patients, our employees and our community. A recent connection with Standard Insurance has made a huge difference in creating efficient and comfortable work and break spaces for our employees.
With the company’s move to new headquarters in Lake Oswego, Oregon, company leaders sought to donate its office furniture to a nonprofit that shares its mission to care for the Portland community. Standard Insurance selected Adventist Health Portland to receive this generous gift.
The furniture donation brought a much-needed refresh to many of our supporting offices and our patient care teams’ break room.
“Our breakrooms were outdated,” noted Patient Care Executive Diana Erdman. “Our patient care teams put so much care into the community here. When you care for others, it is so important to care for yourself as well. Otherwise, the teams here can get burned out.”
We want to extend our great appreciation to Standard Insurance for partnering with Adventist Health Portland to upgrade workspaces and break rooms for our teams, supporting them in their work of providing healthcare services for our community.
