In 2024, our generous and kind community rallied together to strengthen healthcare in southeast Portland. Through donations from individuals and organizations alike, Adventist Health Portland raised more than $1,146,000 to benefit our community and hospital. Some of these gifts include Standard Insurance Company’s furniture donation that aided our associates in having restful places to recharge during a workday filled with healing others. Other gifts came from donors just like you that make a difference in our community while showcasing the power of caring for each other’s health and well-being.

On top of the generosity of community donors, Adventist Health Portland secured $320,000 in grants for the Adventist Health Portland hospital and community. These grants allow us to fund programs like Project IMPACT and Student Healthcare Leaders, help improve vaccination rates in children, help diabetes patients and more. It is through community, state and federal support that we can make a difference in the southeast Portland area.

Adventist Health Portland is part of the larger Adventist Health system, which has hospitals in Oregon, California and Hawaii. Adventist Health foundations across these states raised more than $23.6 million for our communities. Additionally, the 27 Adventist Health hospitals secured more than $42 million in grant funding. Though each foundation functions independently for their individual hospitals, we all work together to fulfill our mission to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.

Thank you for inspiring our community with your generosity in 2024.
